Changes to Membership

Some of you may be aware that Archery GB have changed the membership and fee structures for the coming year.

The renewal process has been split up into two parts:

This means that the club will no longer process your ArcheryGB renewals for you. From the 2nd September 2024 you will be able to do your own ArcheryGB renewal through Sport80. Existing members should get an email from Archery GB about how to do this.

(For this year only the club will still be able to do this for you so please contact secretary@oxford-archers.org if you need us to do this for you, but please use Sport80 in the first instance.)

The club will need to confirm your ArcheryGB membership is valid for insurance purposes so please be prepared to produce proof of membership if requested at a session or when you’re shooting at Hinksey. You must also confirm that you have renewed your ArcheryGB membership when you complete your OA membership application. The secretary also has the ability to confirm your membership via Sport80.
 
There are some changes to the fee structures from Archery GB, detailed below. Archery GB have increased the membership fee quite significantly this year which we cannot afford to cover at a club level.
 
The fees for the following year are as follows.

How to renew

To renew your membership, please take the following steps: 

• Log into Sport80 (HERE) and pay the AGB fee directly to ArcheryGB. You will need to select Oxford Archers as your primary club affiliation. You may need to enter the club number to show your primary affiliation, Oxford Archers is club number 272.
• Renew your membership with OA via the google form that was emailed to you via the mailing list. If you have not received this link, please contact secretary@oxford-archers.org.
• Pay the OA fee (e.g. £110 for seniors) via bank transfer using the details provided once you have completed the OA renewal form.

At the moment the fee to OA covers county and regional fees too, although this may change in the future. We have not increased our club fees this year and the figure above covers all fees to the club apart from the indoor fee.
