What can I expect from the beginners course?

Oxford Archers welcomes anybody who would like to try archery with a view to taking up the sport and joining our club. On the beginners course our instructors will teach you correct shooting technique and ensure you know how to shoot safely within a club environment.

How do I book a course?

Beginners courses are booked through Eventbrite. As each intake becomes available, the link will be posted here. Keep an eye on us on our Facebook page, where we’ll post updates.

Once the dates are set they will be published on our our Facebook Page and on our website here.

Fast Track Courses

Fast track courses are now available again!

If you don’t want to wait until the next group beginners’ course,  you can arrange for a Fast Track Beginner’s Course for up to 3 people to suit your personal requirements.

Our Fast Track Courses are for individuals or groups of up to 3 or 4 people, arranged directly with a coach for private tuition. To arrange for a Fast Track Course, please contact our Coaching Organiser using the form below, giving your name, email address, and some details about your requirements (e.g. number of participants and ages, any previous archery experience, preferred dates or times etc.).
